Ceramic Coating Experts

Ceramic coating is a liquid polymer applied by hand to the hull, bottom, and engine surfaces, curing into a hard protective layer bonded to the gelcoat. Before application, the surface gets fully cleaned, decontaminated, and corrected so the coating bonds properly instead of sealing in existing swirl marks or oxidation. The process is done in stages, with cure time built in between coats so the finish sets up the way it's supposed to.

Gulf sun and saltwater are hard on gelcoat. UV breaks down the surface over time, and salt left to dry on the hull accelerates oxidation and staining. Once oxidation sets in, it's harder and more expensive to correct, often requiring compounding or a full restoration before any coating can go on. A boat left unprotected through a Florida summer shows the difference in fade and chalkiness within a season or two.

Nesta has spent over 10 years in the marine industry and works specifically as a ceramic coating specialist, focused on protecting hulls and gelcoat from sun and salt exposure. The work is done mobile, dockside at your marina or private slip, so there's no haul-out and no time off the water. Next Wave is locally owned, licensed and insured, and free estimates are available before any work begins.
